Healthcare System - Overview





For anyone who has played or followed Big Brother Quarantine since season 4, you're wondering what crazy things are waiting for you this season with the BBQ bucks, well, Expect the Unexpected, because this season there will be NO BBQ BUCKS!!!

Instead, everything about your individual game will be tied to your Health Meter. After every trap, after every challenge, after every game day, you will be judged & your health will either deteriorate or improve.

The lower your health, the more difficult it will be for you in challenges & votes. The higher your health is, the easier things will be for you & the larger the cash prize will be if you make it to the final 2 seats.

Lastly, if your health deteriorates so much that you die from your injuries & neglect, you will be removed from the game. It will pay to be active!!!

Healthcare System - Details


Every player will start with 200 Health Points. This means you are in good health. The Health Meter can reach 300 Health Points. That is the highest your Health Meter can reach & it would mean that you are in excellent health. If your Health Meter ever reaches 0 or below, at any point in the game, you will die & that means you will be removed from the game. There will be no exception to this, even if it happens at the final 3 stage.


How to Lose Health Points

- You will lose Health Points during Jigsaw Traps depending on your performance
(we will lay out the injury cost for each trap)
- You will lose Health Points if you fail to vote
- You will lose Health Points if you fail to meet a deadline to nominate or to host your POV ceremony
- You will lose Health Points if you get caught breaking the rules


How to Gain Health Points

- You will gain Health Points by submitting Diary Room entries every day
- You will gain Health Points by voting on time
- You will gain Health Points according to your performance during certain challenges
(we will notify in the challenge rules if you will gain any points)
- You will gain Health Points when we post special tasks to heal
(they will be posted in the Saint Eustace Hospital area)

How to Lose Health Points (detailed)


Jigsaw Traps: The amount of Health Points lost will vary from trap to trap based on a number of things. For these points, we will let you know directly in the challenge thread.

Not Voting: Voting is super important. We give you enough time to do it, so we expect you to vote each round you can vote in. You already get punished for not voting by being exempt from the next Head of Household challenge, you also receive a strike AND you lose 50 Health Points

Ceremony Deadline: Sometimes Houseguests try to test us & wait to the very last second to start typing their post & then submit late. We forgave in the past, but that ends now. You will lose 10 Health Points every time you send your nomination ceremony or host your Power of Veto ceremony late, even if it's by 1 second.

Breaking Rules: You will lose 20 Health Points if we warned you about something & you do it again. You will lose that much every time you break a rule you have been warned about.

How to Gain Health Points


Diary Room Entries: You will gain 10 Health Points per week if you do at least ONE Diary Room Entry per day. The week will start at 12:00:00am EST Saturdays morning until 11:59:59pm EST Fridays.

Voting on Time: You will gain 5 Health Points every time you vote on time.

Challenges: The amount of Health Points gained through a challenge will not happen often, but you will be made aware if there's an opportunity to heal from playing in a challenge & the amount of Health Points will vary.

Special Tasks: Hosts & Saw Journalist Pamela Jenkins can post extra tasks & if completed on time, you will gain Health Point. The amount will vary & be indicated with each task.
