i don't think i fully understand this but we arent able to go over 169 right?

So like, could I just wager 1 every round? Then final round wager whatever loses me enough to get to 85 and wagee on myself and go slow so I purposely lose and lock in 85 final round?

Because you lose or win blood each round. The winners are whoever is left with the most blood & whoever is closest to 85 ounces left. Loosely, this is like the BB challenge where they run through slippery stuff filling their cups. They can try to get a bigger cup (have the most blood and go all in) or they can go for HOH right away and not waste time getting the bigger cup (losing blood & trying to get down to 85).
